3/6/2012 Teen Dies While Driving And Facebooking

Taylor Sauer knew Facebooking while driving was a bad idea. The 18-year-old college student said so in her last status update: "I can't discuss this now. Driving and Facebooking is not safe! Haha." 1/10/2012 Shore Regional Students Participate in Don't Drive and Text PSA

All of the DCH Auto Group dealerships on the East Coast are partnered with a high school's SADD chapter. DCH Kay Honda in Eatontown, NJ teamed up with the SADD chapter from South Regional High School to film a public service announcement. Their PSA urges drivers to not text and drive. It's important to teach teens how to drive safely and the best way to teach them is to lead by example. Most children learn by watching their parents. Once your children see that you have put down the cell phone and buckled up they will too. New Jersey teens are going to be under even more restrictions when getting their learner's permits and licenses. Teen driver accidents have been up in recent years and these restrictions are being put in place so new teen drivers can be educated even more before being put on the road without parental supervision. Through the DCH Auto Group Teen Safe Driving Program teens are able to work closely with local dealerships and SADD to bring awareness to teen safe driving. Read more.
